I had a pro 5.0 on my 2001... the stock shifter on the 2003 is better than the stock shifter on the 2001, but no where close to my pro 5.0 I had. So, for the T56, which is the best shifter---for good quick throws, and no missed gears...

Steeda
Pro 5.0

It isn't on a T56, but they make one for it -- I love my Hurst! Haven't missed 3rd (or any other) yet. Short, positive throws. Everyone who has driven my car loves it.

1. Obtain a US Quarter...
2. Place end of right Thumb under edge of right index finger...
3. Place Quarter on Thumbnail...
4. Release Thumb, flipping Quarter in air...
5. Catch Quarter in right Palm...
6. Quickly turn right Palm onto back of left Hand...
7. Lift right Palm off left Hand...
8. Examine Quarter noting which "Side" is exposed...

If "Side" = "Heads" purchase Pro 5.0
If "Side" = "Tails" purchase Tri-Ax

Just having fun...this has been polled before and the Pro 5.0 edged out the Tri-Ax, but it wasn't a landslide. No one regrets purchasing either unit.

Triax Handle, no shifter.

I'm using the pro50 handle on stock shifter, too short, but don't miss gears and it feels better then the entire pro50 shifter assembly on my 96 GT.

Also heard good things about the MGW handle.

I used the MGW handle with the stock shifter. Awesome difference. $35 mod. Can't beat it for the money.

Thanks for all the imput...

I decided finally, to just get the Triax Shifter (and handle)... so from what was said and other research, the shifter itself is about the same... so I got the Triax Shifter and Handle.... should be here by fri.. from www.Nelsonsperformance.com :-D
