In my opinion... any wheel that fills out the wheel well. The bullits look good on your car. If you can get those rims in a larger size with a proper drop would look sick. To give you an idea .... These are some of my favorite vintage musclecars.

I like the looks of this one.

Thanks for the pics, I'm working on a shopped pic with FR500's btw.

I like the mach 1 wheels on it, but be sure to paint the gray inserts black. The mach1 wheels look 10x better with black inserts.

Agreed

Here is a shopped pic with FR500's. What do you think of this?

I think they look good too.

I like the Mach wheels. And I love the 71-73 fastback Mustangs. Seems they're a little bastardized.

Probably cause they were designed by some GM boys and was always considered a GM product built by Ford. It's also why the Ford moniker is nowhere to be found on the outside of the 71-73's.

^ Saleens don't look too bad at all, I'd like to go with 18's but I want more tire with the lower suspension. Nice Boss btw, I wish my paint looked that good.

Yeah the saleens look okay, I want something on the cheap lol. Still haven't decided on 17s or 18s, for fitment reasons obviously. That's not my car btw its just a pic i found online, mines in the primer stages.

While you're looking at big open wheels you should really convert the rear brakes to discs, drums look like crap behind newer style wheels. I did it on my small bearing 9" with crown vic parts for real cheap. All you really need to buy new is a spacer kit, PM me and I'll send you the ebay link for em.
caliper backing plates with ebrake assemblies

modified the flange to accept the backing plates

notice the hub spacer to center the vic rotors

and voila, four wheel discs on a vintage mustang for $250-350
