I went back to the dyno after upgrading my fuel system and switching out to a JLT Gen 2 CIA. Also keep in mind that the original numbers where done in July. So with the changes in weather and the JLT Gen 2 and E85 I saw some nice gains.

Changes: JLT High Boost CIA, SCT 2600, Converted back to stock Tensioner, Fuel System Changes, ~19 to 20 psi - Pump Gas with Octane Booster - Old number 615 rwhp and 596 rwtq, New Numbers: 655 rwhp, 618 rwtq.

~25 psi MS109 - Old Numbers 648 rwhp and 684 rwtq. Lots of belt slip. ~25 psi E85 - 728 rwhp and 740 rwtq. Some belt slip past 6250.

My Current Mods: Short Block by Pro-line Whipple 3.4 3.20 Upper with 6.50 Lower 20lbs 93octane w/Lucas - Street Tune
3.50 Upper with 6# lower for ~25lbs E85.
Boss 5.0
L&M Diamond 14cc Pistons.
.051 Cometic head gasket.
ARP 2000 Head Studs
Factory Manley Rods with ARP 2000 Rod Bolts.
Melling oil pump.
Revised 9 thread 03/04 cobra heads otherwise stock.
Stock Cams.
BR7EF – gapped at .017.
JLT Gen2 high Boost with SCT 2600 KB.
Accufab Throttle Body BBK long tubes.
BBK x-pipe.
Magnaflow cat back with Magnapacks.
Gords HE
4.10 Gears
Fuel System: Walbro 465 LPH Pumps, Lethal Hat, -10 AN Feed, -8 AN return, Fore Rails, Lethal FPR, Fore Rails, Ford Racing 80 lb injectors.

What's the compression on the motor?

Looking at the 740tq...I'd say you're not far off and the upper end, 6000+ rpm peak hp number is indeed suffering from belt slip. Get that squared away and I bet it makes 750hp. It appears from the graph slight belt slip might be occurring as early as 5500...

Iam not by any means trying to put you down or anything in any way but ...you numbers are low my ....teksid build stock crank stock rods with arp 2000 bolt -11 cc manley pistons 04 heads ...whipple 3.4 gen 1 with 19 psi made 790 rwhp on e85 on 18 degrees ....now with a 3.2 pulley we saw 23psi it made 827 rwhp.....that was in 100plus degree weather. ..:/.....

Great numbers!

This engine has been beat on for three years now. I could have a piston or two that's not sealing as well as they should. I definitely have belt slip and I know from experience that leaves alot of power on the table. Maybe I have some valve seal issues. Maybe there is inconsistencies in the dyno. Who knows. The numbers are going in the right direction. So I am going to keep working on it and keep moving the power up. The car has a ton more power now. So I am happy for now.

no doubt in my mind the power is low and i told Bobby this.. based off the consumption of fuel its using vs the power its putting out, im attributing the low power to ring seal.. car does smoke alot from the breather as we discussed..

Bob I am extremly happy with the tuning and service you provided. Like I mentioned before I have beat on this engine hard for three years. I might have a piston or two that is tweaked. I was hoping for 700 hp and we more than exceeded that. I will probably tear this engine down this winter. I will definetly be back for more tuning.
