Turbo lag loses races alot of the time, this is a good example.

wow.that vid quality sucked....taking vids with phone?

potential to be a badass video too

I had to blur it since I had the other drivers face the whole race on the video and road signs appearing in plain sight :(

I had a noob camera passenger :(

Bottom line, the turbo car got beat. On the other hand, I have the same setup and my car does not sound like that. In my car, there is zero lag plus the dude was shifting like something was wrong. He got beat though, props to the whipple.

Maybe the whipple car just had more power? anyone ever think of that?

Also, i always hear about brake boosting, what exactly is that?

Wow, lot of negativity. Setup is fine, I just run less boost. I could've brake boosted, but honestly, last time we ran I walked em without brake boosting, and wanted to see how it'd turn out this time ever since he got the live axle and gears. I'm not a competitive person, and he's my friend :)

The hellion kit is a T76 kit...he more than likley was on a low boost setting, my car only made 400rwhp on the wastegate spring (10lbs) He may not have a boost controller yet to turn up the boost...

So I guess Tim Lynch has the wrong power adder....:bored:
Not boost for boost. As a matter of fact, a turbo with a few lbs of less boost, will still beat a roots, twin screw or centrifugal. A turbo running 12lbs will slaughter a Whipple running 12lbs..... ....even though I'm a Centrifugal guy...:-D. Those hairdryers are some efficient mofos.

I would still love to have twins on the street though....:D
