Whipple Gen I or Gen II

Okay, I found a good deal on Whipple for a buddy that is overseas right now. My question is how can I tell if it is a gen I or II? (It is still installed on the car right now).

get the serial number and Phone Whipple they will tell you whether it is a I or II

Some of the Late gen I's look fairly close to the Gen II's so it might be hard to tell them apart.

Also If it is good shape I wouldn't really care what generation it was they both make the same power....

gen2s will start with a 140-xxx if you can get the serial number
