Current issue of Motor Trend says the next Shelby Mustang (Shelby Cobra) will have an engine similar to the Ford GT's engine and will be putting out 550 hp. It say also that there will be an all aluminum V10!!!!

I'm pretty sure thats the actual shelby cobra like the first one at lemans I saw a picture in car and driver, it had a v-10 and like 600 hp. I can't see a cobra having more power or a larger engine than the gt40. That would be = to chevy making a z28 faster than a corvette. That just aint gonna happen. I think 500 hp is optimistic but def. possible.
