honestly we have stout bottom ends (dont be stupid about the amount of boost/timing put into it and you will be fine.)

a 2.9 is also a great option, i will not argue with that, but just remember, they are the same price and i like to get more for my money.

and here are some photos of the galaxie (warning the color will not be easy on your eyes)

Had to pull the s/c off bc i chickened out and replaced my cheap summit fuel hose with the aeroquip fc350 04sleeper recommended which is stuipd easy to put together! also sold the 80lb injectors and went with id1000's, no worries for fuel!!

Also added jlt prefilter, oil separator and the nexgen to high boost intake conversion

This is a forum, and we all have our opinions, but, I just don't agree with the combo. That's just me. Look at it this way, when you build the motor, you will have the right blower. No offense its your car. Good luck with the combo.

one of the fastest stock long block cobra happen to have a 3.4..... so basically he was smarter and bought the bigger whipple for the same cost as the smaller 2.3L. So when he does happen to push it harder he doesnt have to buy another $4k supercharger multiple times.

Its a heavy MOFO though i know i help'd put it on.

Its fine, I understand where you are coming from, and I do respect that, I believe its in the tuners hands along with me watching my wideband, and having a lean protection module help me out

Awesome job, and I have to say that Galaxy is beautiful! Why did you caution us on the color? I think that combo is very nice, and unusual from what you generally see. Is that original paint? Also can you post a shot of what the new Aeroquip fuel lines look like (try to get a shot fairly close showing a fitting if possible please)? I still need to do my return system for my 2.3 (running a BAP for now). Where did you order the hose and fittings from?

I think the main reason some are against that combo on a non-built engine is because it takes a ton of power to spin that monster and it puts a lot more strain on the crank snout, so if you aren't spinning it hard enough to realize the potential they say you are kind of moving backwards by introducing extra strain on the engine for little, or no added benefit. If you do have plans to upgrade further though, at least you did the "buy once, cry once" route anyway! Good luck, and I can't wait to see what the combo puts down! I wish I had access to E-85 here so I could spin my 2.3 up a bit more.

But yes the galaxy still has the original color and original paint. Only reason i said to use caution is bc i get alot of comments that the color is just kinda "odd"

And as far as buying the fuel line and fittings, the fittings came from a company on ebay that carried them, just looked up the part number and bought 5 90's and 10 straights just to be sure i had what i needed lol.

The fuel line though...thats another story, i started out ordering the hose through hosewarehouse.com and eaton kept dicking around with sending them hose so i called a company down in texas (they didnt have any) that led me to another company in texas (they didnt have any) which then led me to a company in oregon who had 25'. I bought all 25' just to make sure i had enough!

Just got doing my 1/2" k member spacer. Not a very fun process but got it done nonetheless. i put the car in the air with jack stands to the front most part of the subframe connectors, put 2 jacks under the k member, loosened the bolts on 1 side and used a tire dismount spoon along with an extender bar for the most leverage possible and put the rear 1 in first, then after the rear 1 is in the front one is almost cake. Will be getting a realignment after the car runs

Thank you for the extra pics and info. It looks good, and I definitely want to go that route if/when I go return because I've heard too many stories about fuel weeping smells with the other types, and I really want the black braided type, not stainless. I have a partial conversion now that uses the Fragola black braid that Lethal sells, and there is no smell, but there is only maybe 4, or 5 feet of it in the engine bay, not all the way back to the tank. I installed the Fore rails with my Whipple so I wouldn't have to tear it apart again later if I decided to go return.
