I remember that. He broke the crank on the used engine he bought, sorry used then rebuilt. Lol
In all seriousness its so hard to really judge any of this from posts. To many variables to take into consideration.

I currently have a whipple myself. Its been installed and tuned since March of this year.

Another added expens on the Whipple is you need a converter for the already expensive 2.9 blower. They are a little lazy on the low end. I'm getting 1.38 & 1.39 60' times with the stock converter on my 2.3 Roush.

I dont think there is a very big cost difference in fully optioned,comparable kits. VMP stage 3 lists for $7999.00 on VMP's website. Lethal lists the stage 3 Whipple for $8495.00.
However, the TVS *tuner* kits are cheaper than any twin screw tuner kits by a large margin.
