white smoke

I know that there are some threads on here about the white smoke on start-up. Can anyone please tell me where I can find those?? Recently everytime I go to start up the cobra I get a plume of white smoke and I have no idea what it is from. :shrug:

use the search, are you sure it isn't blue smoke.


IMO: its the valve seals going out and its nothing to be overly concerned about.

Some Cobra heads have problems with bad guides as well (I've seen them). But these seem to be associated with aftermarket cams (maybe due to overrevving or poor cam profiles that side load the valve stems). Wallowed out/ cracked guides can let oil past the seals as well.
