I got mine at Radio Shack for ~$30 on sale. It's not fancy, just an IR temp guage, but it's small and does the job.

i got an infrared pyrometer from racer parts wholesale (dot com)

some people claim you need an actual tire pyrometer and need to read the tire temps INSIDE the tire carcass. im of the "close enough" mindset with regards to the infrared one.
