Who is the fastest 03 in Florida???

So, what has everyone run so far? I know guys like toofast4you that have the KB are probably at the top, but lets see all the time slips for the 03 cobra's. I will start.

r/t - .685
60' - 2.003
330 - 5.263
1/8 - 7.879
MPH - 93.22
1000 - 10.109
1/4 - 11.959
MPH - 121.9

In a week or two, those times will change. I should be in the mid to low 11's.

All you guys are welcome to post times, even if it isnt an 03. As long as its 100% street legal, lets see the times.

thanks man. The car has the power to do low 11's, but I was not good enough to get it there. Next time at the track I will be launching better, and I am hoping to have another 50rwhp. If I can get my 60' from 2.003 to a 1.6-1.8 that would really help. I will let you know how it goes.

Yea...with the MPH I'm sure you can trim a lot off of the 1/4 mile time. I think a good set of DRs will really help.

I wasn't doing a burnout though, I would just spin them real quick to clean them off. Next time, I need to do a proper burn out to heat them up. Then I need to get the launch down. It was my first time down the 1/4 with the cobra, so I was happy I got the 11's the first time out. I wasn't powershifting either.

well Ill have to try to beat that after my pulley, at least we can try to keep it in the bay area? I think some of the Fuelslut guys in Otown have some quick 03's

KevinJKD, I hear ya! I only have one pass on DR's. Was afraid to heat them up for the longest time! Anyway, once I finally did it, it's awesome!! My 60 ft still sucked, but a 1.9 is night and day different than a 2.1. Couldn't believe it, brought the car up to 4 grand, let the clutch out as quick as I cold and it stuck like glue! Pretty neat experience when you are used to spinning the crap outta them usually. Anyway, G/L. When will you have those Apten times?

thanks Sambandit, I will definately heat them up next time. Lol, I know it seems like its taking forever with the apten! Since I didn't want to do a core swap or anything, I just wanted my blower to be sent out/ported/sent back, is why its taking a while. But the blower should definately be back on monday. So I will drive the car for a day or two so it will adjust, then I am hoping to go to the dyno on wednsday. So give me just a few more days :thumbsup:

Cool, have fun! It's a great mod worth every penny. If you can cut just a 1.8 60 ft, that will probably put you in the 11.6 range and the Apten should give you another couple tenths. Drive it like you stole it and let's see a low 11!

thanks man, hopefully I wont let ya down, I am really hoping to be in the low 11's ( under 11.5). BTW - in a few weeks I will also be trying out some new halfshafts that will be coming out for our cars. Supposedly rated for around 900hp!

hehe.. I went during 30 degree weather.. 2.4 sixty foot!! NICE!!!

low twelves at ~122.. I trapped 95 in the 1/8 as well.. No powershifting.. stock suspension..

I'm gonna have to see what I can pull off in Florida!!

my friend Jay ran an 11.7 @ 123 (i think), with DR's.

i havn't ran mine yet. but i'm guessing it'll be at least in the low 12's.

Update: just got back from the track 11.73 at 123.5mph

Just got back from Bradenton. Was very cold and the track was slick but I was able to snag a 11.680 @ 121.75 with a 1.88 60' on 275/40-17 Nitto's, I also ran a 11.717 @ 120.59 1.89 60' and 11.734 @ 121.44 1.91 60'. those ET's where accomplished when leaving the line at idle and hammering it once I was rolling. also ran some 12.0's spinning the tires off the rims through first and second. Had alot of fun today and hope to do it again soon.
