Who knows about wideband sensors?

I've been thinking about hooking up a wideband O2 sensor to my bike to help with tuning my carbs and rejetting as I mod it, but I'm new to the wideband thing. I really don't want to dump a lot of money into this, I just think it would be cool to tune it myself. Do I just need a wideband sensor and a digital volt gauge? Are there any kits available for cheap (under $100) that would work in my situation?
