There's a car show on Saturday Nov 1st. It's part of the Freemont experience under the huge screen at the old strip. We didn't have the Cobra then. Here's a couple of pics from last year.

Nice to have cover from the sun. Made the cars look awesome!

We were parked right outside of the casinos.

Only one Terminator out of about 150 nice cars. This year... there will be a Sonic Blue in the mix!

The Wife and I will be flying in Tuesday for SEMA and staying until the following Saturday. About a half dozen friends will be joining us for that. My buddy Bart will have his Super Snake in the show on Fremont Street.

That's a cool looking car show. Different... but in a good way.

If I weren't so far away I'd take my car to it, too long of a drive though. I've made the drive once and will never do it again.

I hear ya! We drove from So Cal to Arizona for the April car show at Berge Ford (Phoenix area), in 2007. That was in our '07 but wouldn't do it in the Cobra. We have a couple of AZ friends that we met, who drove to a Laughlin show in '07 and Fab Ford over the last couple of years. Lots of wear and tear, not to mention the expense.

I went to the Berge show this year with my Cobra, it's right down the street from my house so I can get there in under ten minutes :D

Nice! We might try to make it next year but, in the '07 again. Last year, we competed in the stock class but some guy with a standard '06 GT cloned it as an '07 Shelby, put a a bunch of chrome on it and beat us :nonono: I guess I mis-understood the definition of stock :??:

Tickets are purchased. Hotel is still yet to come.. my brother stays at the Luxor (right next door) every year, so he gets a smokin deal on one of the B.A. rooms.... there could be anywhere from 4 - 10 of us making the trip.

I am taking my friend/employee and possibly my dad. My misses can't get the time off unfortunatley. Sounds like we need to meet up and cause a riot or the like.

They are REALLY cracking down this year. I had to fax in paystubs, business license, W2 for my employee, etc. From what I gathered over the phone from them, they have no problem turning people down at the door who don't provide proof. Employees HAVE to show valid proof of employment,no exceptions.

Did they make you jump through any hoops?

Last year was the first year I went and I took Dave G. with me. I had to show my business license and we both had to provide business cards at the registration desk when we picked up our badges. This year, all my stuff was in the system so they're sending them directly to me. No wasting an hour getting hooked up this year.
