My camera takes crystal clear pictures but when I go to image>resize and make it smaller the image gets distorted?

Am I doing something wrong?

Resize it in paint instead....

I get the same thing with Paint.

The pic in my sig was taken with a 6.6mp camera and I resized it to about 5-10% in paint. I don't think it is too distorted.

Sounds like you are making it to small then trying to tweek it bigger afterwards. Resizing pictures is like trimming something you trim a little at a time. If you make a picture to small and then try to make it larger again it will be very distorted. Slowly downsize the pictures.
