I agree, the 5.80 car i had made 387 on motor and sprayed a 200 shot, it was 3250lbs too.

most do. at least thats what I read online. and on the dyno I dont see why it would matter.
It doesn't matter if it is a dual or triple disc vs a single disc. Thing is My converter company (Precision Industries) does not recomend locking up a single disc at wot. It is simply a strength issue. Horsepower wise it there is no difference between how many disc lock-up it is. Lock up vs non lock up there is a small loss of HP from the convertor slip.
