Why isn't my car running? Help Please

So I'm heading back from a friends place.... Driving down the highway and all of the sudden when I try and give my car gas, it almost kills it. If I was off the gas the car coasted and held RPM's just fine. I pulled over and the car died. I started the car, ran idle... But when I'd give it gas... again it would try and die on me. After it died a couple times... it wouldn't start anymore...
I cam back later that day and it started just fine.... But once again, try and give it any gas and it would seem really hesitant and then die..

Any help here?

I'm SCT tuned... have been for the last 12k miles without any problems.
Have other mods as well.

Shot in the dark here but maybe fuel pressure regulator gone south?? Maybe some others will chime in here.

Just got the call back from ford saying my PCM has gone bad. What the hell would have caused that???? The tune? Can that cause it to go bad?

I'm thinking it may be the fuel pressure sensor on the fuel rails... I'm going to have them replace it.. and see if that cures it

its the sensor change it. go to ford it around 80 bucks
