After I installed my fiore firewall adjuster and quadrant my car shifts perfect but.....

After puting about 20 miles on the car, I'm getting this wierd TOB squeky rattle sound, Only when the clutch is DEPRESSED, and I'm sitting still, like a stoplight . Its not real loud, but its noticable.

I was thinking that maybey I did not have enough free play adjusted in the clutch? I had about 1/2" of free play adjusted at first, and now I slacked it to about 1" just incase. The car still shifts perfect. I'm just hoping i did'ent fug something up.

Any ideas?

If you think the noise is coming from the clutch area you might check the guide tube. That is the tube that the TOB slides back and forth on.
They break on these transmissions.

I just drove the car to the store and it only barely made a sound as I pulled back into the garage. I think it may not be a big deal, I 'll just have to wait and see.
