What is my max tire size on the rear of my 2012? Im running Vossen CV3s, 20x10.5 I would like to run an R888 315, but not sure if it will fit. Im currently running Nitto DR555r 305. Another question, is one stickier than the other? Thank you.

They will technically fit, but if the offset on the CV3 is +45mm, they will stick out past the edge of the outer fender. Unless you only drive in straight lines, the R888 would be the better choice. I've got 325/30-20 Michelin Pilot Sport Cups 2 on a SVTPP rims widened to 11". I'm running a 1/4" spacer, so the resulting offset is 63mm. With a straight edge across the cross section of the tire, the straight edge is almost flush with the fender. If my tire was mounted on your rim, the tire would be located .7" further outboard than with my current set up. Some people like that look, but you do run the risk of the tire and fender contacting on a hard compression. While it may not damage the fender, it will eventually burn through the paint.

I've done a lot of work on big tire fitment. If you want to really see if you have the potential for contacting the fender lip, remove the rear springs and jack up the axle until it compressed the bump stop. This will also give you an idea of how much rear travel you have on a lowered car.

Catmonkey, ive got a set of the SVE Drag wheels in 15x10. They have a plus 41mm offset and a 7.21 backspace.

I want to run the Mickey Thompson ET Street radial pro in 315/60R15. It features a 12.7" section width and 11.4" treadwidth. Diameter is 29.9"

If you had to make a guestimate, you this would fit just barely?

Im currently on the Mickey T ET Street 295/55R15s. I have and occasionally run NT05Rs in 305/45R18 on 18x10 wheels.

It would be extremely tight and at a 30" diameter is going to put it real close to the rear fender. If your car is at stock height, you might get away with it depending on how much squat you have on take off. I'm assuming this would be strictly a drag racing setup. Putting that setup on the street will surely present a lot of rubbing issues.

Yes, it would be for drag racing only, and of course to and from the track from thebshop to get my street wheels back on.

I have my rear springs and perches set to the stock SVT ride height. Just installed my LCA relo brackets and Viking springs and rear shocks.

I still have the 295/55R15s on, but as they get to nothing ill pick up the new tires.
