20X10, +40mm offset, 7.07" Backspace 285/30/r20
5x4.5 5x114

i know a lot of guys dont like 20" rims but i am thinking about it.
just not sure if they will fit without mayor modification.

Fronts wont be terrible, rears will probably tuck in a little more than you'd want with a 40 offset. They will fit, they just wont be fender flush or anything.

Yessir, usually with 10" wheels you want an offset in the 20's.

Front having 5.85 back space (8.5 - 5.85 = 2.65 front spacing)

2.65 inches will have the rim not sticking out as much as I would like, if the car is VERY low it might be ok, else you may want more like 2.9-3.0 inches on that so a spacer would be needed.

Rear having 7.07 back space (10 - 7.07 = 2.93 front spacing)

2.93 is not enough, needs to be at least 3.5, and you push 3.75 may require fender rolling, to me 3.75 is the sweet spot. Stock 03 cobra wheels are 3.05 or so front spaced I believe (9 wide with 5.95 back spacing~)

all of the above is based on IRS 03/04 cobras.

off set is based on width to figure out what its actually going to do~
