Why would you want to go with a 8.5" width front wheel? The car is near 4k lbs and with a 57/43 weight distribution. Keep a 9.5" width in the front and go with a 275 tire up front. The car witha 8.5" width front will push even more.

Because they only off the two sizes above. I'll still running a 255 tire. Btw these are fr500 replicas.

To be honest I would pass on these. I am of the mindset that I wouldn't do any mods, even for aesthetics, if it doesn't also aid in performance. Obviously this is your car and you will do what you want. Also a 255 tire needs a 9" rim to have the sidewall supported properly. The minimum rim width is 8.5" but to be supported properly you really shouldn't go below 9" wide in the front.

Nevermind, I finally got a hold of someone from the company and they will not clear the brakes on the shelbys.
