can someone tell if this trans will fit into 2009 Gt500 ?

one of my frinds is looking for an aftermarket trans to replace his broken t6060

Yes the magnum is available for the GT500s. It is stronger, the shifter is actually attached to the transmission and the bellhousing is removable so an SFI approved bellhousing is readily available. It is a good upgrade for those who want to run a street transmission while still maintaining legality because the 6060 has an intregal bellhousing and it's quite expensive to have the transmission sent out and adapted for the QuickTime with adapter(not to mention that supply is getting harder to get a hold of). Not that all that matters if you are not needing it and perhaps just have the 6060 rebuilt for less money. But to answer the simplest question yes the magnum transmission is available for this and many other applications as an upgrade or fresh install.
