take a pick and carefully pry off the cloth cover , there a few 7mm( I think )screws behind it and a plug in connector so you can take it all the way off the door and work on it

Open door completely.Use a flat blade screwdriver, insert between fabric and plastic. Grab entire grille with other hand. Twist screwdriver, shake and pull with the other hand. Nothing really holds it on, its just kind of a slip fit. If it doesn't seem to want to come off retry the screwdriver in some other spots. There will probably be some adhesive from the screen holding it on. Just be patient it'll come off. I just replaced my mirrors so I just did this too. Mine had one 7mm and one large phillips head holding in the assembly.
