My theory is...that greasing the track probably isn;t what fixed the problem. What probably did fix the problem is that the tech "adjusted" the door panel by taking it off and putting it back on, inadvertently relieving a bit of the pressure the seal was putting on the window.

Less pressure, less friction, less likely that the rubber will "cling" and squeak.

Is your car a vert or a coupe?
I bet he just lubed it with sillicone spray. Did they tell they they took your door apart. If it comes back just lube it.

They took the panel off my coupe, which I think was the real "fix" not any lube since there is way less tension on the seals.

You guys are scaring me! I pick up my
Cobra tomorrow. My 99 GT windows squeeked
and they squirted some stuff in them which got
all over the window everytime I rolled it down and
back up again. AND the squeek came back. messy
slimey, squeeky windows..one of my very few complaints
about my GT.

to face me if THIS car has that same annoying problem!!

My driver's side windows squeaks too. I think it's really annoying. I have had the door pannel off and on a few times and it hasn't solved the problem. I am going to have the dealer look at it when I have them change my oil and look at a few other things.

This window squeaking thing really SUX. Anyone with an update on a fix. I've resorted to running the AC all the time so I don't have to hear the Squeak. And talk about embarrassing!!!

My drivers side window would squeak like crazy while closing. The dealer lubed it, and now it only squeaks when it's wet out. Otherwise no noise at all.

The dealership will fix this, why stress over it, it's an easy fix.
