I had been considering porting my factory blower but recently been thinking it might be better to go ahead and invest in a whipple and upgrading the TB and crush pipe. My goal would be around 600WHP with the new blower. At the same time would still like to keep good drivability and response. My question would be what is the best blower size for me. Should i go out with a 3.4 or stay smaller with a 175 or 140 . This is a stock bottom end car and is driven on the street at least a few days every week.

My current mods are listed below if this helps.

afco H/X
morroso expanchon tank
2.76 uper
4lb lower
60lb injectors
gt pumps
100mm maff
bbk cold air intake
bbk x pipe/w high flow cats
magnaflow cat back
stage 3 centerforce clutch
100mm idler pulley

The 2.3 Whipple will give you your goal no problem.

According to your mod list, all you would need to upgrade is:

Bigger MAF (SCT BA or MAFia)
2.3 Whipple
Throttle Body

I'f you're only looking at Whipple Superchargers, you only have 2 basic options - the 2.3 or the 3.4. The 2.9 is not available for the 03-04 Cobras.

For your goal, I'd recommend the 2.3. It can easily make 600 RWHP while in the 17-19 pound boost range (with a few supporting mods)...

you don't have to change the TB, the stock one will get you there if your whipple accepts it. It saves you 400 bucks, but it does lessen the throttle response.
