Hi All, I used to have an 03 Cobra and a 2000 Lightning and I miss having a supercharged car.
Today I test drove a 2014 Mustang 5.0 and I wasn't impressed with the torque, the HP was nice once the RPM's got to 4,000 + but I'd like to have something Supercharged again like a gt500.

What is the difference between the 2011 & 2012's and the new 2013 & 2014's? I don't want to buy new but I also don't want to get something and find the next model had a huge upgrade in horsepower or interior & electronics. I'd like to spend around $35k, can I find a nice 2011 or 2012 for that price range? KBB has them for around $39k.

Thank you all,

Shane

I have a 2012 and absolutely love it. With all due respect to 13-14 guys, I would never give up my 12. Suspension mods (Griggs) are key! Good luck!

13 and 14 came with the TVS supercharger, hence why they have 662 crank HP. The 2012 has 550 crank HP. However you can buy the TVS supercharger and upgrade the 2012 for a few thousand dollars.....which many of us do.

Bottom line is....if you have the money, and like the 2014 body style, buy it. If you want to save some money, buy the older model, and upgrade to the TVS supercharger.
