I have had way too many complaints from OPs and members about recent threads.
This forum is here to assist people who have legitimate questions they want answered either by L.E.O.s only or by anyone with actual knowledge.
Actual knowledge does NOT mean telling the OP what happens in your state/jurisdiction when it does not pertain to their state/jurisdiction.
If the thread says "L.E.O.s Only" or anything that would lead you to believe that the OP wants only answers from L.E.O.s (such as Attention NY L.E.O.s, etc.) please do not post in the thread unless you are a site verified L.E.O.. As this helps to avoid inaccurate answers from posers and wannabees.
If you feel your information is on point and appropriate for the OP of a L.E.O. only thread, feel free to PM or E-Mail the OP, but do not post in the thread with a caveat that you arent a L.E.O.. Your post, no matter how relevant, will be removed and you will be either given a temp. ban, ban, or infraction.
For example, the OP asks about "right turn on red" in Nebraska, please dont post an answer stating: "Well, in Tennessee it is allowed."
That is not constructive and is not helpful to the OP.
Also, telling the OP that you "got away with having too dark tint" is not the same as telling him that his tint level is legal in his state.
Further, name calling and personal attacks are still not allowed in this forum. Yes, you may tease and use good natured ribbing when appropriate.
If a thread is started that is off the wall, it will likely be moved to Smackdown.
Infractions and Bans will be issued for these violations if they continue.
