WTB: Cheap Sporty Car in WI area

I'm in the market for a ~2000$ sporty car. Looking for something that doesn't have much rust and is in reliable mechanical condition. Manual is needed, RWD prefered. Any ideas would also be welcomed.

First gen MR-2
CRX
Foxbody Mustang (5.0 only)
1988 Fiero GT
Cheap Civic for engine swap
RX-7
Integra
...possibly others

Can be in Wisconsin, Twin Cities area, Upper IL, or NE Iowa.

Thanks, but she ended up getting a 1990 Eclipse GSX.

Alot of work and learning already required on this one...
