Just bought a cobra and the stock shifter is a really hard reach. Checked multiple threads and seems like mgw orange handle lets you adjust the position. If anyone has a used one and can verify that it brings it alot closer to driver i'm interested. Thanks

whats the reason for pulling it out? I have short arms, does this shifter bring it closer to driver and away from center console? thanks

I'm pulling it out to replace with a Hurst. I had a Hurst in my old t56 fbody and loved it, my dad taught me that if you're going to have an aftermarket shifter you need it to be a Hurst lol.

Its been a long time since I've had a stock shifter but I believe it does move it further back, it also allows you to turn it closer to the driver. Here is the design I have.
