Neighbor .... heat is the bane of supercharged engines. My personal opinion is that the lowest temperature thermostat consistent with computer programming is the way to go. The lowest temperature thermostat consistent with computer programming is 170 degrees.

The factory uses 195 because it is the all around best compromise for emissions, fuel economy, driveability, etc. None of these things seem very important to me in a machine that is intended for high performance use.

If you decide to go for the 170, I have a new Stant 170 that you can buy for $45 shipped.
