Why would it not be the caliper that is locking up:shrug:

mileage
wear and tear
contaminated brake fluid
piston binding in the bore

I would start with new front calipers and a good brake flush for a start.I have seen calipers lock up all the time but very few abs pumps go bad.

i already changed the caliper and flushed the fluid. they ae brand new calipers. so i was told it might be the ABS module. or even the booster??? does that sound correct?

Did you replace the front brake hoses when you did the calipers?

I asked the master tech at my work and he was wanting to know if the brake hoses had been replaced. He said that ABS pumps very rarely go bad and that the hoses may be collapsing when the brakes get hot.The brake fluid can make it to the piston but cannot let the piston retract when the brake pedal is released.

Ive had cars pull very hard to one side when the rubber brake hoses started to collapse on themselves.
