Not sure if anyone or company made a conversion to replace the tail end on the stock tanny to get rid of the shifter assembly. I know JPC sells a magnum tranny and I think that is the best solution to fit the 1, 2 shift issue. But I would like just to replace tail on the stock trannies if its possible?

There are a few problems with doing that. The shifter location won't be in the correct spot. And, the cost and labor of the components needed would be in the thousands. Not only does the tailshaft housing need to be replaced, but so does the mainshaft of the trans itself. Then, the driveshaft would need to be cut down to a custom length.

See where I'm going here? It would be ridiculously expensive. When instead, you can install a good shifter, good clutch, and a CHE torque brace and/or good motor mounts. Those all have proven to take care of any/all shifting issues. And they would be FAR cheaper.

For reference on the shifter location:
