They can hold you accountable for the ticket, because usually at the bottom of it there is a court date, so even if the court doesn't send you a notice you still have the date on the ticket. Now there is a slight chance maybe he didn't write a court date but I doubt it. good luck man!

thats thing i did follow up on it. a month before im suppose to go to court i called the courthouse to see if i can get an extension on it or bail info so i can pay. before this i went to here www.lasuperiorcourt.org ..u can check tickets online. none appeared. hence why i called the court house. so i figured..ticket not in system..cool. go about my business. who am i to argue if there is or isnt one in the system.
