Dad went up to G-ville today for test-n-tune. Last time, with 600 miles on it and 85 deg, he ran a 14.1 @ 99. This time, aftter dynoing on the MustangDyno at 369 at the wheels, he has almost 3k on it. He was on his way to a conference, so he had the back loaded with his suitcase, his trumpets, and over half a tank of gas. Now for the good part...bone tock, with all that weight he ran a [email protected]. Another 03 Sonic Blue Lightning there with a catback was running low 14s. Weather was 65deg. Guess he got a good one!

Yes I suck very bad at driving but this was my first time racing at the track. I had a great time and I'll probably go back to Gainesville next Saturday as well so I can get some much needed practice in. I saw your dad's 13.65 run and talked to him for a little while. He's a very cool guy and I also talked to a guy with a KB Lightning running 12.80s.

Very similar to dads first times with his. He ran 14.10@97 MPH with around 80 degree temps. Don't know the exact conditions as Norwalk doesn't have the info on they'er time slips.

lol my fisrt run with truck bone stock was 14.2@98 [email protected]
Ran the beast about 3 weeks ago and she went [email protected] was detonating bad that night but i know if i had traction and a chip i would have went into the high 12's that night. Lack of traction is killer on these trucks. With my very few motor mods i dont evern dare to floor it in first wont do nothing but spin. Got to love these trucks.

Sounds real close to my first times in my L...had about 2000 miles on it when I ran. Track temps were in the 90's and I pulled a 13.69 @102. I had a 2.1 60'. I figure if I can get a 2.0 60 with this cooler air my 03 ought to run 13.4ish. Incidentally, my 100+ lbs of stereo equipment seems to help with my launches a little.

If I'm around next Saturday I might go get in some runs...what time will whoevers planning on going be there?
