I've been friends for a while with the guy who did a lot of wrenching on my Mach. I got a call from him yesterday saying he wants his trailer and racecar detailed. First off, this trailer is HUGE. Secondly, his "racecar" is a 1998 Cobra body that's been fully built and puts down 2000 to the tires. Lucky me!

Pics will follow...

The trailer hooked up to his F-350:

More pictures of the car will come once I start the detail on it.

Big job= big $. Nice man. Congrats!! I can't wait to get back so I can tackle theses jobs!!

I'm actually not getting much at all for this one. He helped me out a TON when the Mach was having issues - so I'm returning the favor. But, he's already got two of his friends that want their cars and trailers detailed. I also had a '96 mystic owner say he wanted me to detail his car today. A few other people want it now as well since I'm doing it at Chris' shop (Escort, GT500, Notchback, etc.)

So, for the giant hit I'm taking on Chris' car and trailer, I gained around $2,000 worth of detail jobs! It's a win for us both!

And, $2,000 = MOD MONEY! :burnout:

Nice man!! You gotta repay favors for sure. The last job I did was a 2004 Taurus haha. I think I got some more jobs from the 89 GT though. Everyone thought it had new paint at a show last weekend lmao. I wish I had the time to do more. Hard work but its worth it.

That's awesome- I've bartered a time or two myself. And getting other jobs on top of what you have now is a nice thing to have.

Figured I'd add the original photos as well. Lemme know how the edits look, it's actually my first time enhancing, or trying to enhance, a photo. Also, keep in mind these are cell phone pics.

What did you use and do to detail the trailer?

Lucky for me its just colored panels on the trailer instead of paint. But, I did a test spot on it today and m205 takes out the deposits and everything else just fine. And it takes it out quickly! So, the trailer won't take as long as I thought.

Also, the trailer is diamond plated on the floor. I've never dealt with cleaning that be, so does anybody know what's good to polish that up?
