No, it is used as a marker and in projects requiring a known entity with a specific atomic weight and number that is not easily disapated.
In the body you are referring to the heavy metal type poisoning with the regular everyday Strontium. That requires the ingestion of pure protein to remove it from the body.

If so we are going to be neighbors.
Derek just bought a house a mile from mine on the river. He is next door to Geraldo Rivera (well Cee Cee, she got the house in the divorce) and on the other side is his buddy John Valentin.
John just finished building this monster house on the river with two subbasements. He wanted three, but the town shot him down. The basements contain, a pool, a bowling alley and a shooting range.
