I used to think that, until we finally bit the bullet and bought one at work for our 80 acres. Went with the Turf Tiger II because of the terrain, but it handles our brush better than the previous Laser Z we had...don’t even get me started about the 2 Dixie Choppers we sold or the Hustler. Dry cut is about on par with the Laser Z, but the Velocity deck simply outshines everything else in thick wet stuff. I’d like to have a Tiger Cat for our personal land but not willing to spend the money yet when the Kubota still manages to get the job done, albeit I’m sure in quite a bit more time.
See right now I’m trying to decide if I should go with the patriot or if it really is worth the extra to splurge and get the tiger cat. I know the velocity deck is supposed to be great but it’s about a 2k price difference from what I’m seeing and I’m just going to maintain 2 acres at my personal home.
