Previously, I had done a clearcoat finish on the plugs to leave the brushed bare metal visible. I have come accross some high temp paint that matches the silver finish on the valve covers very very well.

It looks so good that I even took the 2.5 year old test mule temp adapter off my 99 Cobra and refinished it! It looks much better now Pics below...

This adapter allows you to easily install an Autometer/SpeedHut Electric temp sender in the coolant crossover tube.

to run one of these....

Which is a good thing, especially if you like doing this.

No more fighting with a 1/4" adapter to remove the coolant crossover plug, a 1" wrench or crescent wrench makes removal painless!

They do work on the 03/04s. I installed one on my brothers '03 cobra and have sold many adapters to other 03/04 cobra owners.

Do these have an O ring seal, or do we have to use teflon tape or something similar?

O-ring seal. The seals and fittings are pressure rated well above what any cooling system could ever produce.
