EFI 5.0 started in 86. 86-mid 92 were TRW Forged Pistons, late 92-93 as well as 94-95 Mustangs had hyperutectic pistons. Doesnt matter, block will generally split before the hyper pistons will if the tune is on. If the tune is off, the hyperutectic pistons are more likely to melt than the forged but if you are anywhere near 500 rwhp or so and you run into detonation the block is gonna go anyway.

Guy on Turbomustangs had a hyperutectic piston engine that split at 620 rwhp or, pistons came out FINE, the tune was on, the block is just weak.

86-88 is Speed Density (California 88's were MAF though), they tend to run faster stock for stock but do not take well to camshafts and such although some people have tuned around it.

Also, I am finding like complete turbo kits for these things for like $1000, everything is so cheap to mod, how much HP can the motor take STOCK? ANother words, whats the best 1/4 miles I can run on the stock motor?

You won't find a new turbo kit for a grand. B&G makes one for around 3K that will make mid 400's with a basically stock motor. The stock block will take around 550-600. Alot of it depends on how good your tuner is. The other thing to remember is these cars are 400-600LBS lighter than a SN95 or Edge car. Just for referance the GT in my sig went 11.67 in the 1/4 making 338 RWHP (N/A).

im not a big fan of the GT, I prefer the LX in either hatch or notch, what is the weight on both of them?

Here are some of the TWIN TURBO kits for around $1000:

Looks like that is only the cold side of the kit. I have never even heard of that kit, but i am guessing you will have to hack up the inner fender aprons to install it. generally when things seem to good to be true......they are.

From one of the auctions:
CUSTOMER IS REQUIRE TO CUSTOMIZE A TURBO MANIFOLD AND DOWN PIPE FOR THIS SET UP, THIS IS A SET WITH ALMOST EVERYTHING U NEED TO MAKE YOUR CAR TURBO

DAAAAAAMMMMMNNNNNNN!!!!!
That is EXACTLY why I said these cars get me worried when I see one!

Once I get a little extra cash, I would love to pick up a LX notch and just make it a sub 3000lb track rat!
