These are made specifically for standard garages with 8-10 ft ceilings where you can't get a full size lift in.

Yea......I'll go ahead and not skimp on a lift that will be supporting a 3000lb car with me under it. I plan to buy the best car lift, not the cheapest.

It has a 6000lb capacity. The website has a BMW X5 up on the lift.

Lets see you try and pull a trans out hunched over sitting on a shop chair, i will do it on my back with the car on jack stands and it would be easier than on that lift.

The bolt retainers are in the concrete over 4" deep and the holding power of each anchor bolt exceeds 14,500-pounds when properly installed.

Just about every other full size lift out there is installed the same way.

they sell real permanent eagle lifts that clear low ceilings. that i would not be afraid to stand under. I will also pass on the portable BS

Lets see you try and pull a trans out hunched over sitting on a shop chair, i will do it on my back with the car on jack stands and it would be easier than on that lift.

I'd bet it would be easier with this lift at a low setting vice you having that trans on your chest and trying to slide out from under the car avoiding the jack stands.

IMO...I wouldnt waste my money. I would spend 3K and get a real twopost lift
