Any of you running them. What wheels are you using. What off set. Any modifications to the car to make them fit. Help an Old Guy out. Please.

Thanks FOG

I am running them on a set of stock GT500 wheels widened to 11" no mods to car other than an adjustable panhard bar to center the axel under the car.

The wheels were widened by weldcraft. They do very nice work. Tires hook very well and run great. About 8000 miles so far.

so in an 18 they work but is there a tire available to go this wide in a 20 and with that what would be the fitment issues?

Nice car!!! How much did it cost & specs for the rims?

To have the rims widened ran about $400 with all the shipping. Took about 2 weeks. Stock GT500 rims, widened 1.5" to 11"

The Nitto's keep going up in price. I see DTD now has them listed at 313 each....

Now that I got the KR hood and front brake ducts, I'd kind of like to find a set of the 18" KR wheels and have them widened. Don't suppose FR has plans to release them? 20s will not work this wide, tire would be too tall. 20s are for looks, if you like that sort of thing. 18s are for performance, road course or drag.

Did they simply widen them and increase the back spacing by 1.5"? Or, did they weld on a spacer or are you using a spacer? How much clearance to the shock?

Did you have the stock rims chromed as well ? The only rims I've liked out of all the ones I've looked at, is the setup you've done and the shelby cs56's but they don't fit our cars.

I may send my rims out, I wonder if he's got an exchange system going with our rims, so there's no wait.

1.5" of welding - you can see it in the pic. I don't think he is running a spacer.
