Evolution Performance - Shelby GT500 First Into The 11's!

Over the weekend our Shelby GT500 finally crossed over into the 11's with the stock pulley!



As you'll see in the video the car is still spinning off the line pretty good, we need to dial the suspension in a little more.

If you look at the MPH, it's easily a low 11 second car!

We still have a lot of work to do.

We are having a chrome moly roll cage put in this week, so we don't get kicked out of any tracks. :-D

Upcoming Mods

We will be finally doing the pulley change (2.6) and re-tuning it, in preparation for Testing, this Sunday, August 27th at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.

I will have more dyno videos up later this week of the pulley change and re-tuning!

Man that's sick!!! There's a lot of wheel spin on launch, tame that and there is so much more in the car in it's current state of tune. I can't imagine with a smaller pulley.

You guys are about 20 min from me, I need to come up and check out that beast!!!

The car looked like it was not getting good weight transfer. It is a very nose heavy car so that would make sense. Did you have the front swaybar on for this run?

This is just awesome. Good work guys. This just excites me beyond belief. This is going to be a 10 second street car with a pulley and some E/T Streets. What tires are you running in the vid? Some adjustable shocks will help a ton! Get more of that weight to transfer to the rear on the launch.

I believe you are right on, but not sure exactly what suspension mods have been done.

Remember, they probably don't have the "driver" mod just yet considering they just got the car.
