Boost gauge on my 2011 will not go past 9-10 pounds, car is now making 15 pounds on dyno with 2.60 Metco and 10% lower, anybody else had this problem?

I would pick up an after market gauge if you want a more true reading

Drivers side roush pod. I love the look

I've read that the stocker is "inferred" so it doesn't read true boost but takes its measure from other source(s) and is inferred based on those parameters.

Sounds like it has an inference problem. Time to go aftermarket.

You want a MECHANICAL boost gauge. Anything electronic is not going to give you facts, only an analysis of inputs.

A good mechanical gauge is less than $100.

So this can show Boost/Vacuum as well? What is the unit of measurement it shows?

Thanks,
Crowley

Yes vacuum/boost are both in PSI. -10 psi vacuum at idle equates to -20inHg.

Not sure if you've already done so but from your pic it also looks like you need to adjust the boost sensor/gauge for altitude.

It is. It reads -10 vacuum at idle which is where it is supposed to be and 0.0 now with engine off.

Seeing cjgt screen shot made me remember something. On the aeroforce gauge there's three different A/F to look at. bnk1 and 2 which I assume is the left and right sensor and commanded A/F. Is the commanded the average of the two banks and which one do you guys moniter?

Commanded shows you what the PCM wants.

Bank 1 and 2 shows you real time air/fuel ratio.

I have the roush unit. Love it. What sold me was the LED backlighting. Love AutoMeter but hate bulb backlit gauges

This is the new roush gauge. The older one was just a rebadged AutoMeter

Seems like my Innovate guage is pretty similar looking to the Roush one you have. I wonder who copied off who, lol? The LED back lighting is what sold me also.

On a side note, I wish there was a way to tone down the brightness of the backlighting on the gauge. When you compare the brightness of the back lightning on the gauge compared to the back lighting on the dash, there is a significant difference(Bugs the crap out of me, lol).

I wonder if there is a way to reduce the voltage to maybe 9-10volts to match it to the factory dash brightness???

Anybody knowledgeable with volts/amps/watts to acheive this??

-Nick
