I ran 13 flats for the two mile in my prime, and I was leaving some on the table. What's that figure out to, 6:30's? 5'10ish, round 190 back then.

Now I'd be lucky if I could do one in 10, but that's what happens when you blow out a knee, lol.

Considering I'm 6'7 and 290 I think a 13:17 isnt that bad for a 2 mile in the Army we run 3-4 time a week

Used to get about a 6 minute mile, but only when running JUST the mile.

Best 3 mile is 24:30, which is extremely slow for my line of work. Now i'm probably closer to a 28 minute 3 mile.

7:29. That was when I was 90lbs lighter and a sophomore in high school LMAO. I also ran a sub 12 second 100m. Don't ask me how though. Evidently getting drunk for 4x100m relays during track season made you run faster LMAO

The last time I ran a mile that was timed, while I was shooting for a low time, I was a freshman in Highschool (so almost 20 years ago) and I ran a 6:xx mile while it was raining.

Liquid courage or sugar rush :lol1:

LMAO. I was always a shot put guy but then they would have the "fat man relay" which was the shot put/discuss guys running a 4x100m. Needless to say not only did I finish first in my leg but I beat ourmain 4x100m runner lmao.

I guess cheap vodka and sprite make an awsome combo LMAO

This may not be cheap vodka and sprite:)lol1:) but, the local supplement shop in my neighborhood just started carrying Jack3d pre-workout stuff. Been using it, and unlike NO-Xplode, this stuff makes me want to do cardio :dw:. I'd certainly recommend giving it a try. I've had some awesome cardio days thus far.

Nice! I'll have to give it a shot! I'm done with college on saturday and then heading for my MBA in the fall so I have some time to chillax and get back into shape! I've changed my diet so far, just need to hit the track again!

Thanks for the heads up~!

Never really run a timed 1 miler but when running a timed 2 miler by the 1st mile clock hit 6:00 and at the end of the 2nd mile clock hit 12:25.

About 2 years ago... still run almost every day.

Back in the USA!
8 weeks ago it was 5:46 for 1 mile. My best 1.5 was 8:41 a couple months ago. 2 mile best ever was 11:57. 3 mile best 6 months ago was 18:53. Best 4 mile happened 5 weeks ago with a blazing(for me) 26:10 and my best 5 mile has been a 33:20 thus far. Sapper company standard is a 5 mile in under 40 min on hilly roads, sub 35 min for flat roads.
