5.0 A6 3.15 times??

Hell I'm gonna start going at idle. I've been stalling to 1700or so and car starts pushing. Caused me to deep stage

If you do a converter only gears is 3.15 or 3.31 to use and if you stay without converter 3.73 or 3.55. Trust me I went from 3.15 - 3.73, 4.10, 3.55 and now my favorite gear of all 3.31

My plan was to do a converter but i was going to wait until I went forced induction

there is no gain going from 3.15 to 3.55...(without converter )....I have done a race with a friend of mine ,same car , same tune ...he as 3.55 and i ve got 3.15 and from start to finish we were side by side ....

Yes I have youtube videos with my N\A setup before the Voretech and fuel system etc. Just waiting for my Circle D converter to come back as a 2C setup and I just ordered Voretech BV75 BOV. Car halls ass with the setup had to fix a belt issue, fuel leak etc almost there and then videos will come :burnout::rockon:

there is no gain going from 3.15 to 3.55...(without converter )....I have done a race with a friend of mine ,same car , same tune ...he as 3.55 and i ve got 3.15 and from start to finish we were side by side ....

Gears in an auto I would recommend is the last mod you complete.

11.54 @ 119.............7.37 @ 93 in the 1/8th........Circle D 4C , ORX, CAI....bigs and littles...no weight reduction

I do realize it's slightly off topic, but so is all the blower/etc talk, so I thought the o/p might like some proof that gears work.

I don't think the OP wanted "proof" that gears work. He simply asked and wanted to know how quick people have gone on the stock 3.15's. Again he didn't specify N/A, so the blower/etc talk is right on topic if it was acheived using the stock 3.15's.

It would be so interesting to know how fast your car would have went on the 3.15's (everything else the same) on the day your car set the N/A record.

I think it was more the combination of -1500 DA and also your car being insanely light in weight.

How does your car 60ft almost a tenth faster then any other auto with the same converter? Wouldt less weight be the only answer? :rolleyes:

that car has minimal weight reduction, its not that much lighter. :rollseyes

Or the fact nobody else is running a 4.10 with a 5c. Well I am now and we will see how it works for me. :beer:
