I had a proximity sensor on my 89 GT Vert and it kinda looked like this, but who knows???
Did you find out what it is???

Maybe it is a "Flux Capacitor" and when it hits 1.21 jiggawatts......

Ok..did more investigating, took more pics.
Haven't identified it yet.
I havent heard back from my email to lojack.
There are no manufacturer words anywhere on or inside the thing.
That sticker showing oct 07 03 is curious though...I keep thinking why would anyone other than Ford put that on it?
One day ill find out what it is.

FYI if that is a LoJack Early Warning that you just disassembled, they cost about $800.00 to $1000.00 to get installed, so you might want to be careful with it. Not sure if LoJack will re-activate it after you've messed with it either, they require an inspection of the equipment at transfer I believe.

Also a LoJack cannot be moved from one vehicle to another, it is locked to the VIN # and they will not move it.
