another stupid question: will work on the stock 13 inch brembo rotors?

That is what is in the picture. I swapped calipers. That was it. I just scuffed up the stock rotors, since they only had a few miles on them.

It is only correct if Ford quit shipping the pads and HW like they are supposed to. If the kit shows up complete you need nothing but the banjo bolts, although braided lines are a nice upgrade...

IF you only get the calipers you need the following:

2 banjo bolts and washers part number 494413
2 brembo anti rattle springs part number 20.4196.71
4 brembo brake guide pins part number 20.5116.24
FMS Brake pads part number M-2001-X

What makes this a deal is the pads and HW, and reusing your rotors and lines. If you have to buy the hw and pads, you might as well buy the kit. I had pads, and wanted silver calipers... Steve is looking into why mine shipped missing HW and pads. I'll post as soon as I get an answer.

Looks just like a Cobra R Brembo specific caliper. Prob the same thing just you have the gray color option. NICE!

been following this on corner carvers. good to see more people doing this. I am
debating on my options as I like the silver color (matches my car), but I also
like getting a whole kit and I will need new rotors eventually anyways....nice
to have choices for a somewhat limited production car

Yes... The calipers are identicle to the Y2K-R clappers. :-D Just a different color and they come w/o rotors.

The wear pattern put into used rotors from the 2 piston PBR calipers is not as deep toward the hat portion as the Brembo style pads.

PBRs are kinda like this-> ------- [------]

And the Brembos pads are taller and narrower-> [---]

Which will hang over the wear edge if you have one.
If the rotors are pretty new and there is no edge(step) then you are good to go!! :thumbsup:
