group buy for CF Wiper cowls!

I am buying the gasket that goes between the wiper cowl and the windshield also the 2 rubber pieces that go around the hood hinges. I could reuse the old ones but I want new ones.

How much for all of that? My gasket and rubber pieces are not reusable

I didn't know that you could replace that strip of rubber between the cowl and the windshield. I take it you're not going to glue new metal screens in to cover the holes.

Meanwhile, I broke a washer nozzle pulling the old cowl off. I'm kind of nervous since the old cowl has many clips to hold it in place and the new one will have the three fasteners along the bottom and thats about it.

I am adding three push clips to the top of it to secure it down. I am going to go to Ford and see if I can buy the gaskets I may have to reuse them I wont know till tomorrow.

If you have any luck attaching the gasket to the top, let me know. I lost patience with it. I tried to silicone adhesive my stock gasket to it with no luck. The problem is, I can't leave it off, because the cowl does not cover up to the windshield. Also, it does suck that there are no push tabe on the cowl, just three holes for the push pins along the front edge. I guess I will have to retrofit some onto mine so it won't rattle around. It will most likely be a while before I get mine completely installed, since this isn't exactly a direct replacement and I don't have time to fabricate.

I had mine on for about 5 minutes, but have to figure out a way to add clips to the bottom for it to attach properly to the car, also I am having trouble attaching the windshield gasket that goes at the top...without it the bottom edge of the window is not covered.

Where exactly do the clips go and what do they do? And dont you have the stock gasket with the double sided tape? Mine has the wiper cowl delete and should be in the mail today (thanks boosted0range!). I just need to remove the wiper arms etc.

<center>Im pleased with the product, but it could be a little more rounded off on the edges. And the spiderweb crack on the passenger side is an eyesore. Ill let the pictures do the talking.

I have begun the install and so far am fairly dissapointed with the mounting capabilities of the CF cowl. :read:

I called FORD and they wont sell me JUST the rubber seals. They said they come with the whole cowl. :nonono:

I'll have pics up when Im done. If I get done tonight. :bash:
