Well peeps......it's time to flush the old brake fluid out and refill with something new. What are you using and/or recommend for our 2013-14 Shelby GT500's?

Are you using the SRF in a track car @13COBRA ? I was awfully tempted.......but decided on RBF 600 for street use for now. When i have my car set up properly and track worthy I'm going with SFR at that point.

Anyone interested in ATE.....here is some additional info and a link.

TE Type 200 (Amber) DOT 4 Racing Brake Fluid

View Catalog Page in PDF format

ATE Type 200 (Amber) DOT 4 Brake fluid is an ideal choice for handling the high demands placed on your brake system, regardless of whether you are involved in autocross, road racing or high performance street driving.
ATE Type 200 (Amber) Specifications:
DOT Rating: 4
Dry Boiling Point: 536° F
Wet Boiling Point: 396° F
Compatible With Other Fluids: DOT 3 & DOT 4*
Container: One liter metal can

* None of our brake fluids are compatible with silicone-based (DOT 5) fluids.

ATE Type 200 is the same as ATE Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid, except with a DOT-compliant amber color. All other specifications are identical. ATE engineered the two fluids to have exactly the same performance.

ATE TYP 200 Brake Fluid exceeds all DOT 4 standards and is designed to excel under the extreme demands of race cars and high-performance driving. The high wet and dry boiling points make this fluid an excellent choice for street driven vehicles as well. ATE TYP 200 is compatible with all DOT 3, DOT 4, and DOT 5.1 brake fluids. The formula offers a minimal drop in boiling point due to outstanding water binding properties resulting in a long-lasting fluid that can provide optimal performance for up to three years under normal highway driving conditions.

Yeah, track car. The RBF is probably overkill for a street car to be honest

I ran Brembo LCF 600 PLUS for years, with zero problems.

I found this Brake Fluid Comparison Chart informative. Based on the info there, I started using AFCO HTX brake fluid, which was easier to source the last time I bought fluid.
Thoughts?

ATE Original TYP 200 Racing Quality DOT 4 Brake Fluid, 1 Liter Can

Good stuff - I run it our daily drivers, but wouldn't hesitate to give it harder use.

SRF is awesome and WAY overkill for street use. If you want to literally throw money away go for it. Motul 600 is what I use on track and is more than sufficient for any of the street cars in this forum.
