Damn straight gunna be nasty on the road coarse!! Did you order the suspension through Griggs or through Van?? I need to get a hold of griggs for my Kmember setup.. That is a pretty penny to drop all at once man!! No joke probably close to 50k alone on parts

I had Van work with Griggs for my parts. I would recommend using him--he motivates and pushes them. He will stay involved and help get it all out on time for your build :)

Your price estimate is within 25% :)

Nice build, I'm a whipple man myself but still a great build. Only thing I would do differently is the blower. With a built motor the 2.8 wouldn't even be an option. Other than that should be a blast. What is the car's intended purpose. Taking from the Griggs and dealing with Van your going to be doing some road racing. Might explain the blower size

Customer wanted to keep his stock hood and do a Griggs Suspension.

Anything with this build is possible. I'll ask Van why we chose FRPP shorts. I don't recall.

You heard a specific exhaust tone that you had heard previously and we are going to replicate that. Long tubes would provide a different exhaust tone.

Out of curiosity, could you pin the crank opposote side of the keyway. When I supercharged my vet, the Chevy balancers are pressed on, so what we do is get a key pinning kit for the crank. This is done with the crank in the engine and using the balance as a guide. Example for the vet shown here.

A&A LSx Engine Crank Pinning Kit (A&A 8 8-Rib Balancer) [AAPK-02] - $79.95 : A & A Corvette Performance, Your C5, C6 and Z06 Corvette Supercharger Specialists

Great question and one I am personally not qualified to answer but I will try and ask Michael Rauscher from L&M Engines the next time I speak with him.

"I have used the same technology for 20 years but with a major difference that I will keep to myself due to proprietary reasons.
There is no way to drill an accurate hole with a drill. The pin must be a .001"-.002" interference. You cannot get that with a drill.
Both surfaces, the crank & the balancer must be the same height, there cannot be a step or the job becomes a failure. The hole must be 50% each side, round and straight.

The pin must be solid, no roll/spring pins.

In regards to balancer failures and double key, most of the double key jobs I have seen the keys are not 180 degrees apart and will cause failure".

As written to me by Michael Rauscher, L&M Engines.
