adding some electric cut outs as well huh?

good luck with the work! Corn Power FTW!!

Thanks Dave and Yessir! Got tired of removing the cat-back and sticking those turn downs on LOL.

Where did you get those cut outs?

These are Doug's cutouts from Jegs. I've bent the butterfly style in the past and I wanted to go with the gated style. They appear to be built very well.

Can't wait to follow the progress Jammye

Thanks Zak, it has been a while since I've got to do any modding, basically cause I've been so happy with what I had. This way I'll have no more pulley or tune changes, just hook up the trailer and go.

Still running the 3.6LC or going to the 4.2?

I'm still running the 3.6 and I want to see just how far I can push it. Next year I think I'm gonna put the big boy on.

Rob, No, I probably don't. LOL. I just have a sickness about this stuff that you know of well. I can't believe I beat you to the punch on this. Get your stuff and we'll work through this together lol.

Damn thats a impressive build, cant wait to see what you can make on E85

Thanks man, I'm Jones'en to get it on the strip badly. By this time of the year I've usually got about 30 slips, at least.

Thanks a lot JD and it's good be be back home. Sounds like you'll be joining the 8 second club soon. Keep us advised on how the build is going.

I've got a few more thing removed but looks like things is gonna stall out for a few weeks with Baseball season in full swing, work and going on vacation in a couple weeks. I'm hoping by mid to late June to, at least, have some dyno #'s and some track numbers to follow shortly.:nonono:

Hey, Al, right back at ya my friend! You're a true mustang connoisseur. You should start a thread just to show your project cars, collector cars and race cars. I could have stayed all day just looking around and talking about your collection. I'm pretty sure Mike Johnson and Steve Turner invited me back to KOTS last year just because they felt sorry for me due to my showing form the previous year LOL. It was a MASSIVE honor just being in the same room with all those guys, much less competing with them. I told Mike some time after the competition last year that Bowling Green seems to be the sharpest point of my Bermuda Triangle because I break something really small every time I go there and it put me out of the competition. Even so, just competing there in the GT500/Terminator Shootout and the KOTS pretty much nulls any problems I seem to have. Look forward to seeing you there this year and thanks for the killer deal on the seats.

I've gotta get my tail moving on this, Jason. My Wife and kids have my complete attention right now with Sports and end of the school year programs and activities. Hopefully this weekend I'll get a huge dent put in it......And yes, it so good to feel 70-80 degree weather again lol.

Update time. I'm pretty much done with the new fuel system and gonna go get it tuned next week at Blankenship's. This is gonna be pretty pic heavy so I do what I can tonight and may finish up tomorrow. I try to caption the pic with an explanation too as I go.

Pumps. Make sure they are 2.985" from the base of the pump sock to the bottom of the hat. Not the best pic of the actual measurement.

I use plenty of Petrolatum Technical on everything fuel. Been using it on aircraft for 22 years and the stuff is great.

Spliced the wires from the pumps to the hat with environmental splices. I don't like using heat shrink in fuel systems but thats just me. After this, I sat the hat aside until I was ready to install it.

This is the wiring harness installed in the back of the car. It looks like a ton of work but there is actually only one wire that is spliced here. The little blue wire is spliced in from the FPDM for the key on signal to the two relay mounted above. The splice, relays mounted and the two grounds to the relays is all that need to be done back here. The other splices you see in the pic are from the removal of the KB BAP.

Better pic of the Blue to Purple wire splice.

Here's where you'll want to run the Relay power wires and the Hat harness toward the front.

Still just following the OEM wire run down to the Hat area and the plug end stops there. The Relay Power wires continue through the door sill plate and through the fire wall to the Power point at the relay box up front.

Through the Fire Wall.

And to the Relay Box Power wire.

Now for the Regulator Butt whoop'en! I couldn't find anywhere that suited me for my regulator near the fire wall, so I just made my own mount on the strut tower. I use .050 Stainless Steel to make the plate and It works well.

Fabbing-up pics.

Regulator mounted.

Im gonna stop here for the night and I'll finish up the pics to where I'm at right now when I get home from work tomorrow. This job is NOT that bad at all, but I wouldn't try to do it in a hurry your first time. Bee back tomorrow with rest of the install.
